Flash Reviews, Dance Wear Lead Among Dance Insider Readers

Flash Reviews and Flash Review sponsor Body Wrappers scored the most popular pages after the Home page on the Dance Insider for the quarter ending March 31, according to Urchin Reports, which tracks statistics for the Dance Insider Online.

"We're delighted that our readers share our appreciation of Body Wrappers's critical sponsorship, and show that appreciation by visiting Body Wrappers's page on the Dance Insider to find out more about its elegant and practical products," said Dance Insider publisher Paul Ben-Itzak.

After the Home page, more Dance Insider readers visited the Flash Review archives page, to search for reviews, and the page for Flash Review Sponsor Body Wrappers's page, to search for information on dance and fitness apparel, than any other page on the site. The page includes links to the company's web site and to dance wear retailers.

The Dance Insider Online had 380,000 hits in March, its highest number ever, and 45,000 visitors, as tracked by Urchin Reports.

According to the most recent Dance Insider User Survey, the Dance Insider's audience is primarily made up of professional dancers, choreographers, teachers, students, and company directors. Three out of four Dance Insider readers purchase dance wear products, with 60 percent spending up to $300 per year on dance wear or shoes, 15 percent up to $1,000, and 5.5 percent more than $1,000 per year, according to the survey.

Also scoring in the top ten features on the Dance Insider were the DI Photo album, the Dance Insider Online Directory, and Francis Mason's interview with ballet star Ethan Stiefel, originally published in Ballet Review.
